He/Him
Brian Farley
“You put your trust in me, I will train you for that trust. My policy is to watch over you, rather than fight alongside you. My reward comes from the memories of this adventure.”
- Merlin, Fate Grand/Order
June 5th, 1983 - May 23rd, 2022
May 2022 was a difficult month for Arcadia. Farley, our lead piercer, suddenly fell ill at the beginning of the month and was admitted to Mass General hospital. He was there for three weeks, fighting as hard as he could against a very serious sickness. Even though Farley fought hard, he passed away on May 23rd, 2022, surrounded by loved ones. Farley worked very hard over the years to bring joy and comfort to clients that came to see him for piercings.
He made sure to inform clients of the process, to ensure that they were aware of everything that was going on. His piercing work was phenomenal, rivaled only by his commitment to an excellent bedside manner in the piercing room. It was only last year, in 2021, that Farley was able to achieve something he had always strived for - to be the owner of his own studio.
With Morgan, the only person that Farley had ever apprenticed in his career as well as long-time girlfriend, he started Arcadia Professional Body Piercing. The goal of Arcadia was and still is to provide a safe place where clients can be confident that they will receive a wonderful piercing and will want to return, whether for troubleshooting, new jewelry, or anything else they may need.
Farley’s Arcadia
Even though Farley is no longer with us, Arcadia will continue. The goal remains the same; provide a safe and comfortable space for clients to get their new piercings or upgrade ones that have long since healed. Farley was the person who taught Morgan how to pierce and his skill lives on in the work that she does. He ensured that he taught her the best way to interact with clients, by treating them like friends.

Obituary
This beautiful write-up describes Farley for those who may not have known him as well as others. There is also a guestbook that clients can sign if they would like to share positive memories of visiting Farley in the studio. He had an impact on many lives over the course of his career. The body piercing industry and the world lost an absolutely incredible human.
