Child Earlobe Piercing

Ages 7 to 10

Here at Arcadia, we offer earlobe piercings for clients ages seven and up. To make sure that our younger clients have the best possible time getting their first piercings, we have certain policies in place. Even though getting sparkly ears can be exciting, it is also scary so it is our first and foremost priority to make our younger clients feel comfortable and in control of the show. Their consent is the number one concern of the moment and we make sure that they know that. At any point during the consultation or the piercing appointment itself, the child is always allowed to change their mind.

An Exciting Experience

At the end of the consultation, the young client is asked if they are still interested in getting their ears pierced. If they’re feeling ready, the staff will send you a private booking link that will allow you to select a date and time with the piercer you consulted with to come back in and get the piercings done. Should the child not feel quite ready yet, the staff can still email the link and you can book from home when they’re prepared to get the piercings.

We definitely recommend that young clients bring their favorite plushy or a stress ball to their piercing appointments, as it can definitely help them to relax. You can also bring a favorite snack of theirs or their favorite juice. Getting their first piercing should be a very exciting experience and we’re happy that you’ve chosen Arcadia for that special occasion!

Book A Consult

To make our younger clients feel as comfortable as possible, we require a consultation prior to the piercings. The deposit for the consultation is $15 and is taken off the cost of the services fees at the time of the piercing appointment, as long as the child gets their piercings within 30 days of the consultation.

During the consultation, the young client will meet their piercer and be able to ask all of the questions that they might have. The piercers will discuss the process of the actual piercing, from start to finish so that they totally understand what will happen if they decide to go through with the piercings. Aftercare will also be discussed to make sure the young client feels ready for the responsibility of taking care of new piercings for the eight months that it takes for them to fully heal. In addition, the young client can see the piercing room as well as look at the jewelry to get an idea of what they might want to choose when they come back for their piercing appointment.
